Our Cuba Programme

Cuba is unique. We try to encapsulate all that this intriguing country has to offer on our salsa holidays to bring you an unforgettable experience.

Staying in the landmark Hotel Nacional in Havana, all of our Cuba holidays are accompanied by a dedicated team of Cuban dancers who not only teach and partner you in classes by day but also escort you to some of the hottest clubs in Havana by night. This way you get to experience the real Havana, dancing with Cubans and immersing yourself in their energy, passion and spontaneity.

Our teachers really want you to emulate Cuban dancers and they will encourage you to learn on all levels, not just the moves. As they put you through your Salsa paces we can guarantee there will be emotional moments, sweat and frustrations but we can also guarantee that you will return home with more confidence, more style and able to amaze your friends with your newly-learned Tembleque (body movement or ‘quivers’) or Reggaeton moves.

The most striking aspect of the Cuban style is the importance of emotion and passion: to be in the “moment” with your partner and to really feel the music. In Cuba this is usually live music which accentuates the authentic Cuban Salsa experience.

With at least fifteen hours of tuition included in our holidays, your time in Havana is intense. But we wouldn’t have it any other way. To truly experience Cuban Salsa you need to live, breathe and sleep the dance and the country. We do offer a little respite on our two week breaks, which feature four nights on the beach in Trinidad de Cuba but even here the spirit of salsa emanates from the clubs and the streets.

The fantastic thing about learning Cuban Salsa on one of our holidays is that after a morning in the dance studio you can relax, take a swim in the pool, enjoy a Cuba Libre and then hit the dance floor with your Cuban friends to showcase your new moves.
